BingoRoar keeps what it needs to run your account and your bingo nights, and nothing for advertising. Here's all of it.
What we keep
- Your account: your email address, and your password stored only as a one-way hash we can't read back.
- Your purchases: which passes or subscription you bought, when, and for how much. Stripe processes the payment itself; we never see your card number.
- Your nights: when each night pass started and ended.
- Pro game stats: with Pro, the app saves your games: numbers called, patterns, winners, how long games took, and which animations played. Without Pro, none of this leaves your computer.
- Server logs: like every website, our server notes the IP address and browser of each request. These are deleted after about two weeks.
Your bingo night itself (your venue name, colours, patterns and the board) is kept in your browser, on your computer, not on our servers.
Cookies
One: a sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. No advertising or tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics.
Who else is involved
- Stripe takes payments and runs the subscription page. Their privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
- Google Fonts serves the site's typefaces, so your browser asks Google for them.
We don't sell or share your information with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your email, password hash and stats. We keep payment records for as long as tax law requires.
Your choices
- Download all your saved stats from your stats page at any time.
- Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete your account.
Security
Everything travels over HTTPS, passwords are hashed with scrypt, and signing out ends your session.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and, if the change matters, tell you.
